If your magnificent wool felt coasters, placemats, table runner, desk mat, wool felt basket and laundry hamper may become dusty gently brush them using a lint roller in order to remove dust and crumbs.
That’s it! Easy peasy care.
TIP 🧐
If felt objects immovably remain at a place on the shelf, on the chest of drawers, dresser, tallboy or on the floor for quite some time I recommend to display dried lavender, lavender cushions or cedar wood for preventive protection against moths.

WE ARE MOVING TO A NEW SPACE
this October🍁
Leaving beautiful medieval little town of Tittmoning, located at Austrian border, heading north; longing for the sea 🌊
SO LONG Southern Bavaria, magnificent mountains and magical deep dark woods. It is time to leave here where I have spent half my life and where it all started back in 2017, happy memories but also slaving and challenging times.
It is bittersweet as I will miss my current space. But, I am excited to see where this new adventure takes me.
Soon the studio will be located at the most northern little town of Royal Glücksburg at Danish border.
Once the set up of the studio is done I will change some things regarding the shop. It will be smaller and more exclusive. I will concentrate on creating and making unique pieces or in small batches.
I am setting my inventory back to a small set inventory and made to order.
Autumn is a time of change; of letting go of things, taking stock and reflection. Anyone who has ever had their own business will tell you that even when you are not working, you are working!

Wool, wool felt is inherently flame-retardant. Why

Wool, wool felt is inherently flame-retardant. Why? Pure wool retains moisture in every fiber. Therefore it resists flames without chemical treatment. Wool does not burn when touched by flame. It just chars slowly.
Also, wool does not melt, drip or stick to the skin when touched by flame. Even if directly exposed to fire, the woollen fabric would not burn, only char.
Wool is one of the most heat-resistant materials among natural fibers and does not burn in open flame. Smolders and chars slowly from app. 300°C.

CONCLUSION:
A modern natural fabric safe to use around you and your family, babies, children and pets.

WHAT ABOUT BLENDS?
Wool blend felt that contains even small proportions of blends make the product flammable and dangerous. Wool blend felt like:
– wool and rayon
– wool and acrylic
– wool and polyester
We do not recommend these!

NOTE:
Cotton is a natural fibre and is flammable.
Rayon is a regenerated cellulose fiber. It is flammable and burns fast.
Acrylic is a synthetic fibre. It is highly flammable and dangerous.
Polyester is a synthetic fibre. Also highly flammable and dangerous.

Acrylic felt, polyester felt; synthetic fabrics made from recycled water bottles or plastic are not recommended at all. Also they can contain toxins due to the dyeing-process.

I created my very first merino wool felt baby girl mobile for my precious little niece born a handful of weeks ago in beautiful Almonte, ON 🇨🇦
Pretty little Charlotte 💝
The first picture I received showing her wearing a cute white bonnet with flower eyelet embroidery and a little white onesie depicting gorgeous little butterflies in a delightful mulberry pink colour tone.
I decided to choose colours around this scheme. Not just pink. However bright and delightful colours for a pretty little baby girl.
My Colour Combination for the cute hot air balloons:
Beautiful Ivory, Vibrant Lavender, Poppy Red, Pretty Mulberry, Light Honey, Natural Linden, Burnt Orange, Saffron, Cherry Red, Soft Dune; mostly in combination with a magnificent heather beige.

The little clouds come in arctic blue, ivory and beige in nice contrast to the large white cloud. On top where all threads meet and securely knotted a nice ivory wool felt circle.

When the felt baby mobile was made finally and came out that pretty, a simple design but nonetheless eye catching, was overwhelming.
Little Charlotte liked it as much as family, friends and visitors. Inquiries for this baby girl mobile were numerous in a very short time. After finishing all inquiries (family and friends) I decided to add this pretty baby girl mobile to the shop. Finding a suitable name for this handmade beauty was not difficult at all.

Merino wool is antistatic.
Synthetic fibers can become statically charged due to electrosmog. Merino fibers are antistatic. This magic happens because they absorb moisture.

Merino wool is antibacterial.
It is all about the wool fat, the so-called lanolin, in the wool. Lanolin creates a microclimate in which bacteria do not feel comfortable. Also important, the specific structure of the merino fiber. The structure of the surface is similar to fish scales. No clean and straight surface in contrast to synthetic fibers. Bacteria find it difficult to inhabit.

Merino wool is pilling-resistant.
The long fibers of merino wool tangle difficult in contrast to the short fibers of other types of wool. The formation of nodules is therefore hardly possible.

If your magnificent wool felt coasters, placemats, table runner, desk mat, wool felt basket and laundry hamper may become dusty gently brush them using a lint roller in order to remove dust and crumbs.
That’s it! Easy peasy care.
TIP 🧐
If felt objects immovably remain at a place on the shelf, on the chest of drawers, dresser, tallboy or on the floor for quite some time I recommend to display dried lavender, lavender cushions or cedar wood for preventive protection against moths.

WE ARE MOVING TO A NEW SPACE
this October🍁
Leaving beautiful medieval little town of Tittmoning, located at Austrian border, heading north; longing for the sea 🌊
SO LONG Southern Bavaria, magnificent mountains and magical deep dark woods. It is time to leave here where I have spent half my life and where it all started back in 2017, happy memories but also slaving and challenging times.
It is bittersweet as I will miss my current space. But, I am excited to see where this new adventure takes me.
Soon the studio will be located at the most northern little town of Royal Glücksburg at Danish border.
Once the set up of the studio is done I will change some things regarding the shop. It will be smaller and more exclusive. I will concentrate on creating and making unique pieces or in small batches.
I am setting my inventory back to a small set inventory and made to order.
Autumn is a time of change; of letting go of things, taking stock and reflection. Anyone who has ever had their own business will tell you that even when you are not working, you are working!

Wool, wool felt is inherently flame-retardant. Why

Wool, wool felt is inherently flame-retardant. Why? Pure wool retains moisture in every fiber. Therefore it resists flames without chemical treatment. Wool does not burn when touched by flame. It just chars slowly.
Also, wool does not melt, drip or stick to the skin when touched by flame. Even if directly exposed to fire, the woollen fabric would not burn, only char.
Wool is one of the most heat-resistant materials among natural fibers and does not burn in open flame. Smolders and chars slowly from app. 300°C.

CONCLUSION:
A modern natural fabric safe to use around you and your family, babies, children and pets.

WHAT ABOUT BLENDS?
Wool blend felt that contains even small proportions of blends make the product flammable and dangerous. Wool blend felt like:
– wool and rayon
– wool and acrylic
– wool and polyester
We do not recommend these!

NOTE:
Cotton is a natural fibre and is flammable.
Rayon is a regenerated cellulose fiber. It is flammable and burns fast.
Acrylic is a synthetic fibre. It is highly flammable and dangerous.
Polyester is a synthetic fibre. Also highly flammable and dangerous.

Acrylic felt, polyester felt; synthetic fabrics made from recycled water bottles or plastic are not recommended at all. Also they can contain toxins due to the dyeing-process.

I created my very first merino wool felt baby girl mobile for my precious little niece born a handful of weeks ago in beautiful Almonte, ON 🇨🇦
Pretty little Charlotte 💝
The first picture I received showing her wearing a cute white bonnet with flower eyelet embroidery and a little white onesie depicting gorgeous little butterflies in a delightful mulberry pink colour tone.
I decided to choose colours around this scheme. Not just pink. However bright and delightful colours for a pretty little baby girl.
My Colour Combination for the cute hot air balloons:
Beautiful Ivory, Vibrant Lavender, Poppy Red, Pretty Mulberry, Light Honey, Natural Linden, Burnt Orange, Saffron, Cherry Red, Soft Dune; mostly in combination with a magnificent heather beige.

The little clouds come in arctic blue, ivory and beige in nice contrast to the large white cloud. On top where all threads meet and securely knotted a nice ivory wool felt circle.

When the felt baby mobile was made finally and came out that pretty, a simple design but nonetheless eye catching, was overwhelming.
Little Charlotte liked it as much as family, friends and visitors. Inquiries for this baby girl mobile were numerous in a very short time. After finishing all inquiries (family and friends) I decided to add this pretty baby girl mobile to the shop. Finding a suitable name for this handmade beauty was not difficult at all.

Merino wool is antistatic.
Synthetic fibers can become statically charged due to electrosmog. Merino fibers are antistatic. This magic happens because they absorb moisture.

Merino wool is antibacterial.
It is all about the wool fat, the so-called lanolin, in the wool. Lanolin creates a microclimate in which bacteria do not feel comfortable. Also important, the specific structure of the merino fiber. The structure of the surface is similar to fish scales. No clean and straight surface in contrast to synthetic fibers. Bacteria find it difficult to inhabit.

Merino wool is pilling-resistant.
The long fibers of merino wool tangle difficult in contrast to the short fibers of other types of wool. The formation of nodules is therefore hardly possible.

Inspired by the picture I posted in my story the other day I made some glasses cases using these magnificent colours that arrived recently. They are superb cases that protect your sunglasses from scratches and come in spring-like floral colours:

If your magnificent wool felt coasters, placemats, table runner, desk mat, wool felt basket and laundry hamper may become dusty gently brush them using a lint roller in order to remove dust and crumbs.
That’s it! Easy peasy care.
TIP 🧐
If felt objects immovably remain at a place on the shelf, on the chest of drawers, dresser, tallboy or on the floor for quite some time I recommend to display dried lavender, lavender cushions or cedar wood for preventive protection against moths.

WE ARE MOVING TO A NEW SPACE
this October🍁
Leaving beautiful medieval little town of Tittmoning, located at Austrian border, heading north; longing for the sea 🌊
SO LONG Southern Bavaria, magnificent mountains and magical deep dark woods. It is time to leave here where I have spent half my life and where it all started back in 2017, happy memories but also slaving and challenging times.
It is bittersweet as I will miss my current space. But, I am excited to see where this new adventure takes me.
Soon the studio will be located at the most northern little town of Royal Glücksburg at Danish border.
Once the set up of the studio is done I will change some things regarding the shop. It will be smaller and more exclusive. I will concentrate on creating and making unique pieces or in small batches.
I am setting my inventory back to a small set inventory and made to order.
Autumn is a time of change; of letting go of things, taking stock and reflection. Anyone who has ever had their own business will tell you that even when you are not working, you are working!

Wool, wool felt is inherently flame-retardant. Why

Wool, wool felt is inherently flame-retardant. Why? Pure wool retains moisture in every fiber. Therefore it resists flames without chemical treatment. Wool does not burn when touched by flame. It just chars slowly.
Also, wool does not melt, drip or stick to the skin when touched by flame. Even if directly exposed to fire, the woollen fabric would not burn, only char.
Wool is one of the most heat-resistant materials among natural fibers and does not burn in open flame. Smolders and chars slowly from app. 300°C.

CONCLUSION:
A modern natural fabric safe to use around you and your family, babies, children and pets.

WHAT ABOUT BLENDS?
Wool blend felt that contains even small proportions of blends make the product flammable and dangerous. Wool blend felt like:
– wool and rayon
– wool and acrylic
– wool and polyester
We do not recommend these!

NOTE:
Cotton is a natural fibre and is flammable.
Rayon is a regenerated cellulose fiber. It is flammable and burns fast.
Acrylic is a synthetic fibre. It is highly flammable and dangerous.
Polyester is a synthetic fibre. Also highly flammable and dangerous.

Acrylic felt, polyester felt; synthetic fabrics made from recycled water bottles or plastic are not recommended at all. Also they can contain toxins due to the dyeing-process.

I created my very first merino wool felt baby girl mobile for my precious little niece born a handful of weeks ago in beautiful Almonte, ON 🇨🇦
Pretty little Charlotte 💝
The first picture I received showing her wearing a cute white bonnet with flower eyelet embroidery and a little white onesie depicting gorgeous little butterflies in a delightful mulberry pink colour tone.
I decided to choose colours around this scheme. Not just pink. However bright and delightful colours for a pretty little baby girl.
My Colour Combination for the cute hot air balloons:
Beautiful Ivory, Vibrant Lavender, Poppy Red, Pretty Mulberry, Light Honey, Natural Linden, Burnt Orange, Saffron, Cherry Red, Soft Dune; mostly in combination with a magnificent heather beige.

The little clouds come in arctic blue, ivory and beige in nice contrast to the large white cloud. On top where all threads meet and securely knotted a nice ivory wool felt circle.

When the felt baby mobile was made finally and came out that pretty, a simple design but nonetheless eye catching, was overwhelming.
Little Charlotte liked it as much as family, friends and visitors. Inquiries for this baby girl mobile were numerous in a very short time. After finishing all inquiries (family and friends) I decided to add this pretty baby girl mobile to the shop. Finding a suitable name for this handmade beauty was not difficult at all.

Merino wool is antistatic.
Synthetic fibers can become statically charged due to electrosmog. Merino fibers are antistatic. This magic happens because they absorb moisture.

Merino wool is antibacterial.
It is all about the wool fat, the so-called lanolin, in the wool. Lanolin creates a microclimate in which bacteria do not feel comfortable. Also important, the specific structure of the merino fiber. The structure of the surface is similar to fish scales. No clean and straight surface in contrast to synthetic fibers. Bacteria find it difficult to inhabit.

Merino wool is pilling-resistant.
The long fibers of merino wool tangle difficult in contrast to the short fibers of other types of wool. The formation of nodules is therefore hardly possible.
